A chance encounter in 2006 unknowingly sparked the beginning of a love story between a flight attendant from New Zealand, living in London at the time, and a restaurant owner from Brazil, residing in Los Angeles. Little did the two men know that their random meeting in West Hollywood, California, would turn their lives upside down and later lead them to open Bakers & Roasters, a brunch restaurant, in Amsterdam.
